La propuesta debe estar en articulaci\u00f3n a un Colegio y\/o Asociaci\u00f3n profesional local de preferencia (se analizar\u00e1n casos en que esto no sea posible).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> La propuesta de candidatura deber\u00e1 contener:\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2.1 Carta de aprobaci\u00f3n de la jefa o el jefe de Departamento, coordinador\/a de Programa de Postgrado o director\/a de la Unidad, reconociendo el apoyo de la misma.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2.2 Breve descripci\u00f3n de las instalaciones: disponibilidad de salas, auditorios para conferencias y espacios para Mesas, Simposios, Exposiciones y reuniones.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2.3 El mejor per\u00edodo para la realizaci\u00f3n del VIII Congreso de ALA dada la situaci\u00f3n local, de acuerdo con el calendario de la Universidad que acoge el evento y dentro del primer semestre del a\u00f1o 2028.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2.4 Breve historia del Departamento y sus l\u00edneas de investigaci\u00f3n.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2.5 Justificaci\u00f3n del inter\u00e9s en presentar la candidatura.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Inscripci\u00f3n:\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">3.1 La inscripci\u00f3n de propuestas podr\u00e1 realizarse hasta el 30 de Octubre de 2026.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">3.2 Las propuestas deber\u00e1n enviarse a trav\u00e9s del correo electr\u00f3nico ala.directiva@gmail.com, con el encabezamiento \u201cCandidatura para ser sede del VIII Congreso ALA 2028\u201d.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">3.3 La CD de ALA analizar\u00e1 las propuestas, deliberando hasta el 30 de noviembre de 2026, cuando anunciar\u00e1 el resultado por correo electr\u00f3nico y en la p\u00e1gina web de ALA.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Organizaci\u00f3n y recursos financieros:\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">4.1 Cada edici\u00f3n del Congreso requiere de un Comit\u00e9 Ejecutivo y un Comit\u00e9 Local y cuenta con un Comit\u00e9 Cient\u00edfico\/Acad\u00e9mico.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">4.2 ALA cuenta con un fondo inicial para respaldar las ediciones de sus Congresos.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">4.3 ALA tomar\u00e1 las decisiones referidas a la gesti\u00f3n del evento en conjunto con la Instituci\u00f3n Anfitriona. Los costos del evento ser\u00e1n costeados con los recursos provenientes de las inscripciones y recaudaci\u00f3n de fondos.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">4.4 Al finalizar el evento, los fondos resultantes del Congreso ser\u00e1n remitidos a la ALA, los mismos ser\u00e1n resguardados por la CD entrante para su funcionamiento y la organizaci\u00f3n del IX Congreso ALA 2031.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Chamada P\u00fablica para Propostas\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>CONVITE P\u00daBLICO PARA PROPOSTAS PARA SEDIAR O VIII CONGRESSO DA ASSOCIA\u00c7\u00c3O LATINO-AMERICANA DE ANTROPOLOGIA (ALA)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>VIII CONGRESSO DA ALA 2028<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">O VIII Congresso da ALA em 2028 \u00e9 um congresso organizado pela Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Latino-Americana de Antropologia, cuja primeira edi\u00e7\u00e3o ocorreu em 2005.<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Requisitos: Os proponentes que atenderem aos seguintes requisitos poder\u00e3o participar desta chamada para propostas:<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1.1 A institui\u00e7\u00e3o anfitri\u00e3 deve ser um Departamento de Antropologia, um Programa de P\u00f3s-Gradua\u00e7\u00e3o em Antropologia ou equivalente, vinculado a uma Universidade da Am\u00e9rica Latina e do Caribe.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1.2 A institui\u00e7\u00e3o proponente deve estar vinculada a uma institui\u00e7\u00e3o de Ensino Superior respons\u00e1vel pela organiza\u00e7\u00e3o do pr\u00f3ximo congresso.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1.3 A proposta deve ser submetida em conjunto com uma associa\u00e7\u00e3o profissional e\/ou faculdade local (casos em que isso n\u00e3o for poss\u00edvel ser\u00e3o considerados).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>2. A proposta de candidatura deve incluir:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2.1 Carta de aprova\u00e7\u00e3o do Chefe do Departamento, Coordenador do Programa de P\u00f3s-Gradua\u00e7\u00e3o ou Diretor da Unidade, reconhecendo o seu apoio.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2.2 Breve descri\u00e7\u00e3o das instala\u00e7\u00f5es: disponibilidade de salas, audit\u00f3rios para confer\u00eancias e espa\u00e7os para mesas-redondas, simp\u00f3sios, exposi\u00e7\u00f5es e reuni\u00f5es.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2.3 O melhor per\u00edodo para a realiza\u00e7\u00e3o do VIII Congresso da ALA, tendo em conta a situa\u00e7\u00e3o local, de acordo com o calend\u00e1rio da Universidade anfitri\u00e3 e dentro do primeiro semestre de 2028.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2.4 Breve hist\u00f3rico do Departamento e das suas linhas de pesquisa.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2.5 Justificativa do interesse em submeter a candidatura.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>3. Os custos do evento ser\u00e3o cobertos pelos recursos obtidos com inscri\u00e7\u00f5es e arrecada\u00e7\u00e3o de fundos; 4.4 Ao final do evento, os fundos resultantes do Congresso ser\u00e3o enviados \u00e0 ALA, que os guardar\u00e1 para seu funcionamento e para a organiza\u00e7\u00e3o do IX Congresso da ALA de 2031.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Public Call for Proposals\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>PUBLIC CALL FOR PROPOSALS TO HOST THE VIII CONGRESS OF THE LATIN AMERICAN ANTHROPOLOGICAL ASSOCIATION (ALA)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>VIII ALA CONGRESS 2028<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The VIII Congress of the Latin American Anthropological Association (ALA), to be held in 2028, is an academic event organized by the ALA, whose first edition took place in 2005.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-weight: 400;\">1.Requirements: Proponents who meet the following requirements may participate in this call for proposals<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1.1 The host institution must be a Department of Anthropology, a Graduate Program in Anthropology, or equivalent, affiliated with a University in Latin America and the Caribbean.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1.2 The proposing institution must be linked to a Higher Education institution responsible for presiding over the organization of the next congress.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1.3. The proposal must be developed and submitted in coordination with a local professional association and\/or college (cases where this is not possible will be considered).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2.The candidacy proposal must include:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2.1 A letter of approval from the Head of Department, Postgraduate Program Coordinator, or Unit Director, acknowledging their support.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2.2 A brief description of the facilities: availability of rooms, auditoriums for conferences, and spaces for roundtables, symposia, exhibitions, and meetings.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2.3 The best period for holding the VIII ALA Congress, given the local situation, in accordance with the calendar of the University hosting the event and within the first semester of 2028.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2.4 A brief history of the Department and its lines of research.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2.5 Justification of the interest in submitting the candidacy.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">3.Registration (Submission)<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">3.1 Proposals may be submitted until September 30, 2026.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">3.2 Proposals must be sent via email to ala.directiva@gmail.com, with the subject line \u201cCandidacy to host the VIII ALA Congress 2028\u201d.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">3.3 The ALA Board of Directors will review the proposals and deliberate until October 30, 2026, when the results will announce the result via email and on the ALA website.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">4.Organization and financial resources:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">4.1 Each edition of the Congress requires an Executive Committee and a Local Committee, and has a Scientific\/Academic Committee.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">4.2 ALA has an initial fund to support its Congress editions.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">4.3 ALA will make decisions regarding the management of the event in conjunction with the Host Institution.
